Baltimore Creatives Acceleration Network (BCAN) - Maryland Institute College of Art

BCAN mission is to Empower creative entrepreneurs of all backgrounds and disciplines throughout Baltimore to translate their ingenuity and resourcefulness into thriving creative businesses that sustain their livelihood and strengthen the city.Creatives in Baltimore are valued, invested in, and thriving – no matter where they are from, what they look like, or who they love. We had the honor of participating in the launch of this amazing program in over 5 years ago we worked alongside the first group of creative and social entrepreneurs doing some amazing work in Baltimore. We recently got involved again to serve as executive coaches for the next chapter of the incredible entrepreneurs being supported by this amazing organization. We provided executive coaching to Donald Terry, Jr., CEO of Betty Lee's Candy Dish and Jade Flower, the typewiter poet.

Amplifying Community Excellence

There are countless gifts and talented individuals making a difference in every city, especially Baltimore! Our team collaborated with the University of Maryland - Baltimore Extension leadership on strategic storytelling and creative direction, designing the piece above. Their goal? SeriesFest - A Creative Collaboration with Listen Productions

We had the chance to collaborate with our creative partners at Listen Productions to edit and produce a short video piece in support of SeriesFest, a nonprofit championing bold voices in episodic storytelling. SeriesFest isn’t just about what’s on screen — it’s about who gets to be behind the camera, in the writers' rooms, and at the table. Through year-round educational programs and initiatives that support underrepresented voices, they’re building a more inclusive pipeline for creators and storytellers.
